UAV Seal Survey of Liscannor Bay and Mutton Island funded by LBAF

As part of the Local Biodiversity Action Fund (LBAF) project called Towards building a Strategic Marine Alliance in Liscannor Bay.
6 surveys were carried out from June to September. Video and images were captured during each flight from a UAV over known or suspected haul out sites. Some sites such as Bar Trá and Coolrone could be surveyed using binoculars. After each flight images were inspected and any seal present were marked.
