The survey collates known sites for Himalayan Balsam in Cork City and sites that were subsequently treated (using manual and mechanical means)

The data was captured to identify and collate areas where Himalayan balsam was present, and to create a register for a removal programme. All stands were treated locally. This work forms part of the LBAF project LBAF-CKY-25-4 2025.
Desk study,subsequently informed by site surveys
25 locations (~5,491m2) were identified to have Himalayan balsam present and are included in this data.
