To increase the knowledge of lichen distribuion in Ireland.

2006 - 2015
High quality, including identification using spore analysis and chemical tests where necessary. Some rare species were encountered and these were verified by two Scottish lichenologists, Dr. Brian Coppins and John Douglass. Specimens were collected for some species.
Being updated with new records.
