Dataset was created during a survey of the distribution of Nitellopsis in Lough Ree.
Through the use of a fish finder for macrophyte locating and a grapnel sample to confirm species identification.
Lough Ree
Macrophyte identification was confirmed in the field by Dr. Jan-Robert Baars and all presence points were mapped in qgis to ensure they were in the correct location.
