To provide baseline information to inform the development of the Glounthaune Community Biodiversity Action Plan.
Habitats classified and mapped to level 3 of the Fossitt classification. Plant species lists compiled for habitats of potential conservation interest. Incidental bird records collected while carrying out the survey.

All data entry was double-checked against the original field datasheets. Habitat mapping was digitised using aerial imagery, and habitat boundaries were checked against the aerial imagery. No rare plant or bird species requiring additional verification procedues were recorded.
