Mullingar Community Biodiversity Action Plan 2020-2030
This dataset was compiled as part of a Mullingar Tidy Towns initiative to develop a Community Biodiversity Action Plan. It was funded by the Community Foundation for Ireland. The surveys were undertaken in the summer of 2020 and this list should be read as a representative sample of the diversity of species in these areas of Mullingar and not a complete biodiversity species list. Mullingar Tidy Towns are encouraged within the Community Biodiversity Action Plan to continue to update this species list over the years.

Casual visual observations recorded during survey days
Mullingar is a town located in the midlands of Ireland. This dataset represents surveys undertaken at four locations within the town boundaries during the summer of 2020 including the Royal Canal at Grange Bridge (53.518576, -7.368146), Mullingar Town Park (53.524460, -7.337149), River Brosna at Mount Street (53.523355, -7.339002) and the Famine Graveyard (53.540297, -7.347380)
