To expand knowledge of the distribution and ecology of subterranean macro-Crustacea.
A variety of sampling techniques are used. Details are provided on the Hypogean Crustacea Recording Scheme website at http://www.freshwaterlife.org/hcrs/sampling.html
The island of Ireland, but the data are only a sub-set of a larger database on the hypogean Crustacea of Britain and Ireland established by the Hypogean Crustacea Recording Scheme.

All data validated as part of the Hypogean Crustacea Recording Scheme.
